Where we stand
Every private server says it is not pay to win. Here is what that actually means on this one, in language specific enough to hold us to.
Narion is an old-school Metin2 server. It is funded by donations, and donating buys you nothing that affects a fight. The game is built around player-versus-player conflict, and guilds are the structure that conflict runs through. There are no mounts, no pets that fight for you, and nothing that plays the game while you are asleep.
The server runs on donations and it will stay that way. Nothing purchasable makes your character stronger, faster or luckier. If a donor and a free player meet in the open, the fight is decided by who plays better.
Farming is how you prepare. It is not the point. Rates, drops and maps are tuned so that gearing up is a means to fight other people, not a career in itself.
A guild is not a chat channel with a name. Territory, war declarations and the ladder are the spine of the server. Being unguilded is a choice with consequences.
No mounts. No pets that fight for you. No auto-hunt, no auto-potion, no offline levelling. If a system plays the game for you, it is not here.
Four classes, one upgrade path, one economy. We would rather do a small game properly than bolt on a costume wardrobe and six currencies.
Cheats and dupes get the account blocked, whether or not that account has ever donated. There is no tier of player who is expensive to ban.
We remember what these did to the game we loved. They are not coming later. This is not a roadmap, it is a decision.
Our thanks, and a server that is still online next month. That is the entire list: no item, no boost, nothing that changes the outcome of a fight.
Think we have broken one of these? Say so publicly. A promise nobody audits is just marketing.
